library synonym mind: torture-chamber synonym ball-of-light-too-bright-to-see
paradise: pre-language perception
poet: one who is tormented by words and then fights back
poetry in the nonfiction section of the library as if truth were that easy
i imagine your heart is roiling. beautiful paupers in my dreams last night morninged me with blanched peanuts and vague discontent, like the ague
my morning is shot through with you. fare well, literally.
grief is washed with literal storm here. i was a cliché by lying in it, but it brought a song and we were both part of it. a part. we are both eyes and we love our mission. words do nothing but skew. i love to skew.
do you think grief ever leaves us, or does it just forget itself and then remember itself, water on a beach?
this is rhetorical: what happens to all the letters that go unwritten? i feel like a fly in amber today–red and swollen
